Located in downtown Stockton, California, the Stockton Arena is a 10,000-seat stadium
that has been used primarily for hockey, arena football and indoor soccer. The stadium,
opened in 2005, is part of an entertainment complex that includes the Banner Island
Ballpark, home of the minor league baseball team, the Stockton Ports
Although no longer hosting an indoor soccer team, the arena is still the venue for hockey
and football. The Stockton Thunder of the East Coast Hockey League and the California
Eagles of the American Indoor Football league continue to hold home games there. In
addition, the stadium has hosted World Wrestling Entertainment events, EliteXC mixed
martial arts events and a variety of local activities.
The arena is designed with fixed seating for events up to 10,000, but it is able to add
temporary areas that increase that total to 11,800. The venue is perfect for concerts, stage
performances and a wide range of other activities.
